Photo sharing at a German–Turkish wedding: a bilingual checklist

Prepare German and Turkish QR instructions, clear albums and a simple guest upload flow for your engagement, kına night and wedding.

A bilingual celebration works best when guests understand the invitation to participate. Prepare short German and Turkish instructions, and test the actual upload flow with people who prefer each language.

One invitation in two languages

German: “Teilt eure Fotos und Videos mit uns. QR-Code scannen und ohne App hochladen.”

Turkish: “Fotoğraf ve videolarınızı bizimle paylaşın. QR kodu okutun; uygulama indirmeden yükleyin.”

Place both texts beside the same event QR image, or use separate language cards pointing to the same event. English instructions can help other guests. The wording of a printed card does not itself set the language of a phone: test the upload page's available language choices.

Organize the celebration

Use recognizable names for albums, such as Nişan / Verlobung, Kına / Hennaabend and Düğün / Hochzeit. Check how guests select albums and whether the event's upload period covers all dates. If different collections should have separate access, consider separate events and review package requirements.

Offer different ways to contribute

Guests may prefer photos, written congratulations or a voice message in their own language. Do not require everyone to record a message. Ask a trusted helper to explain the process at the venue.

Test together

  1. Open the guest link on an iPhone and an Android phone.
  2. Check language choices and upload one photo.
  3. Test a short voice message with microphone permission.
  4. Review guest visibility.
  5. Print one QR card and scan it in suitable lighting.

For events in Germany, check printed-product delivery information and current payment choices before ordering. Support can answer specific questions. These practical steps apply without assuming that every German–Turkish couple celebrates in the same way.

Create your event, download your QR code and let guests upload photos and videos without an app.
